C&D Metal

Examples of C&D metal include framing, pipes, rebar flashing, wire, etc. Any metal waste from Construction or Demolition project sites containing loose fluids or hazardous waste cannot be accepted for recycling.

Reuse Options

Many metal items such as framing, pipes, rebar, or furnishings can be collected for reuse from Construction and Demolition project sites. If possible, it is best for reusable metal items to be collected prior to or at the start of C&D projects. Reusable metal items are typically collected in Gaylords or are palletized.
